The luxurious Lotus Honolulu offers walking paths to Sans Souci Beach and amazing views of Diamond Head. Tea/coffee is served daily from 06:00 to 10:00 and wine is served daily from 17:30-18:30. All guestrooms come with a cable TV and an iPod dock. Every room also includes either a balcony or a patio. A refrigerator and premium coffee machine are available in each room as well. Guests can relax during the wine reception in the evenings. Guests also have usage of beach chairs and beach towels. Lotus Honolulu is located directly across from Queen Kapiolani Park. “We loved staying at the Lotus! The employees are so friendly and helpful. They were all so nice to talk to! I loved the location as it was on Waikiki, but is located at the end so it's a lot more quiet.
It can be argued that the Lotus is worth 5 stars, but I couldn't do it because unfortunately, it is not located on the beach and does not have a pool or hot tub. There isn't much they can do to change that and they have done their best to make it the best it can be. They also have a fine dining restaurant that only serves dinner, so other meals were in town. There is a small beach they have access to and they provide beach chairs which was fantastic. They also serve complimentary wine in the afternoon and have bicycles to borrow to ride around town. Rooms are spacious, updated and very clean - they also have a great view of Diamond Head and some water views.
I would absolutely recommend the Lotus to friends and will definitely return in the future. It was a great week!”

“The hotel's location is great, and that is what you are paying for. There is really nothing special about this hotel, some aspects like bathrooms need an update, the restaurant only does dinner so you need to make a breakfast plan which will take you outside the hotel. You are paying to be on the beach in Honolulu. I like that it is at the quieter end, away from some of the noise and crowds, but for the cost I was hoping for something a little more special and refined. I will not seek out this hotel again.”
