“This is my first time staying at Royal Sonesta hotel. Overall, it was a great hotel if you are looking for the convenient location in Chicago downtown. Huge shoutout to the Elizabeth, the front desk staff. She was fun and passionate. We chat every time when I return to the hotel at night.”

“It needs some improvement. The location is ideal and the staff was always very friendly and helpful, that being said... It needs improvement. The biggest fault was cleanliness, when we checked in we found a bandaid on the shower floor, the jets in the bathtub has some built up grime, the sofa had that dusty old sofa smell and the comforter had some suspicious spots around it. Also, the mattress was sagging, toilet paper was rather thin, the mini fridge didn't work and the ac was a noisy nightmare. Now I understand you pay for location on this one but next time I'll probably pay some extra dollars for a better room somewhere else or just stay a couple of blocks away.”
