Stayed six nights during a conference and was quite impressed with this hotel. The room was about as expected and had a large high quality TV and good view. Staff was attentive and friendly. I accidentally left a valuable item in my room and they promptly delivered it to FedEx to ship back to me. Conference facilities and meals were awesome! Great location at the edge of the French Quarter. Many restaurants and bars are located nearby.

No estoy de acuerdo con el cobró extra de $40 dolleres diario , solo por tener aseso a una habitación ubicada en la Esquina.Por el precio deberían colocar por lo menos agua en la neverita de la habitación.Y , no entiendo porque no limpiaron la habitación para la última noche,ya que no coloque un letrero de no MolestaNo pude tomar café antes de partir a el aeropuerto,ya que no repudiamos al no limpiar. A very busy place especially when conventions are going on. Checking in took a good deal of time. One thing however that was nice and helped out a lot, if you plan on ordering from the hotel restaurant, their is a button on the room phone to make an order. They can bring you the food, but that is an extra charge. You can place your order and pick it up down-stares, avoid the crowd, and doesn’t cost any extra.

Impressionante o tempo de espera do elevador. Além disso fiquei num quarto perto do elevador e quando chamamos o elevador faz um barulho que escuto a madrugada inteira. O banho também não é bom. A água parece que tem água. O hotel não condiz com o padrão Marriott.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed.
We love this hotel. Front desk staff was very nice especially Diamond. Great location right next to everything. Walking distance to anywhere you want to go. Great views of downtown and The French Quarter

M-Club here was great. Pantry is very useful but beware if you want them to cook something in the kitchen it can be very slow. The burger joint at street level closes early. The Starbucks inside is fast but it is a hotel Starbucks so it doesn't have everything and doesn't take the Starbucks app or card. There is a full service Starbucks just a block away at 700 Canal Street.

I was a not looking forward to staying at this property after reading all the reviews, I even packed extra towels, etc. Well I can say that I had a great experience at this hotel. Check in was great ( sure you have to wait a bit sometimes) but the staff did everything right. The room was clean, towels replaced daily if I wanted. The restaurant food was really good, the servers were so friendly and nice. It was crazy busy due to a conference so sometimes you had to wait a bit but that's too be expected. Miss Jackie who worked during the day at the lounge bar/restaurant was great and the night staff excellent. Security was awesome, no homeless in the hotel or even close to hotel for that matter. The staff at the FedEx office were so helpful. I didn't see anyone cleaning the main area surfaces (elevator buttons, etc.) but that's not to say it wasn't done. This hotel definitely surpassed my expectations and I would recommend this place. A special shout out to Kelvin Vance also in group bookings, so helpful and quick to reply to questions.

A friend and I traveled for a mini-vacation. It was very busy upon our arrival. I was troubled and disappointed by the wait as our room was not ready though we arrived a little after check-in time, which was at 4 pm. The explanation given was that it was because I had requested a high floor and they needed to prepare it, though I'm not sure what that had to do with anything. In addition, I was told that their "system" had an outage and that there were 2 conventions in town and a few weddings there that weekend. (We saw evidence of this as a bride and band came through the lobby at one point during our wait. It was quite entertaining.) After the check-in madness, we were finally able to get to our room. The wonderful view of the Mississippi made it worth the hour-long wait. They did not charge for the river view though it would have been considered an upgrade as I did not select a river view room for my original reservation. I believe this was done to make up for being inconvenienced.The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. I am only giving it 4 out of 5 stars because of the wait to check in. I see that others have written about the slow/long check-in. My guess is that the location and size of the hotel make it a prime location for so many people therefore, it's consistently busy. Still no one expects to wait an hour to be able to gain access to their room and hotels likely wouldn't be as accommodating if you needed to check out an hour later than their required time. Overall, it was a great hotel and I would stay here again. I would also recommend it to others just with the understanding that the hotel may be busy especially on weekends and so it's important to "pack your patience" just as you would for a popular restaurant at peak dinner hours.

Beds in room smaller than advertised, said queen but they were full. The bar down stairs, ugh. You're better off bringing in your own booze. 15 bucks for drinks that were mostly sweetener and barely a shot.Other than that, nice looking, clean, and lots of comfort to be found.NOT worth the nightly price during events though. Valet was great and friendly, albeit pricey.

It’s clean and convenient and the staff was helpful and accommodating- including storing our luggage upon checkout due to a late flight out. Easy walk to most attractions, comfortable beds, good wifi and clean room. I would definitely stay again.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I’m a huge advocate for Marriott. However, this stay left me feeling very disappointed. For starters, the check in process was extremely long and tiresome. None of the rooms were ready. Housekeeping was quite behind and my room wasn’t ready for hours after I got there. The lines were insane and if you got to go to your room, but had issues, you had to stand back in line to talk to someone. Our keypad wasn’t working and an engineer was supposed to come fix it, they never did.We were there for 4 days. We had NO WATER in our shower for the last 3 days. There was also little to no water pressure in our sink. There was no hot water also. Also there was no change in towels. I requested extra towels and never got them. Bathrooms and rooms were quite small. Nothing special about them at all. The valet/lobby area were probably the nicest areas in the hotel.The bar and theirstaff were the best people and the best thing the hotel had to offer. They were accommodating and worked with us.After all, I will never be back. Quite frankly, for the price, I’ve stayed at nicer hotels that were cheaper for a longer period. This hotel definitely tarnished the Marriott brand in my eyes. They have a lot of things that need to be fixed.

Great location. Easy walkable distance to the French quarter and across the street from the streetcar. The rooms are what you would expect and if you book enough in advance, you can get a good deal. The water pressure was great in the shower and ample hot water. Didn’t get to try their restaurant because I was in New Orleans and I was going to eat outside. They have a pantry so if pressed, you can grab essentials from there.

Great staff perfect location on Canal Street. the valet parking could be a little bit less expensive especially for individuals like ourselves that only parked one time and it sat there for two days. We will definitely come back and visit with the whole family.
We stayed there to attend as New Orleans Saints game it was very close and convenient with a lot of other fans staying at the same hotel.

The location is what I liked most about the hotel. The cleanliness was lacking in the common areas, at the front door, and in the rooms. Guest did not uphold required protocol in common areas, such as the pool, and there was no enforcement by staff.

Me encantó. Las housekeeping son miy amables son bilingües, te apoyan en todo lo que necesitas. El hotel esta muy bien. Solo hay UNA cosa que no es agradable...su servicio de elevador. Horrible. Puedes llegar a esperar hasta 20 minutos nomas por un elevador. Tienen un sistema raro, quizas es moderno, yo no lo j habia experimentado antes. Sinceramente prefiero el antiguo. Ese en el que solo le lpresionas al boton y elelevadorllega, te subes y marcas el piso al que vas. No importa si hace paradas en el trayecto. Este nuevo no me gustó. Todo lo demas excelente. Su servicio, las albercas, sus patios e instalaciones limpias, muy bien.
