“Prior to my arrival I called the concierge to arrange transportation from the airport as our arrival time was midnight. The transportation was there to pick us up and drive us to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at one in the morning. I asked for a wake up call at 5:30 AM. We didn’t sleep much in room 2323 due to a noise that I wasn’t sure what it was, but it was so late, and we were exhausted from a
Long trip I figured I just deal with it. The next morning I ask for transportation to drop off my daughter at her camp. The driver did not know where I was going although I had already provided that information to the concierge, this was poor communication between the concierge and the transportation company. As I return to my room at 8:30 in the morning I was hoping to go back to sleep for a few hours. But the noise continued, so I called the front desk to ask what was that noise?! I was informed that the elevators were right behind my room. My question is why would you assigned a room that you know is not quiet to a guest if you have more than 700 rooms and have PLENTY of availability. I do not understand why you would put an exhausted guest through this unpleasant situation. I was going to stay longer, but change my mind after this experience. Very disappointing for a nice hotel!”

“The hotel is in the Polanco neighborhood, which has great options for dining and nightlife. It's within easy walking distance or quick car-share ride to office districts with buildings for companies like Google. The hotel also has multiple restaurants within it. The staff is as professional and helpful as you'd expect from an InterContinental. Many of the rooms have wonderful views over the city or over the park surrounding the national amphitheater.”
