“This hotel was soooo poor. It is by no means a 4 star hotel! Looked nothing like pictures. Reviews were fake.
1/ The room stank like smoke. The first thing this hotel needs an ozone generator to clean up the smells in the room.
2/ The pool and sauna came at an extra $ cost! This is false advertising as they formed part of the main pictures on the website anda 4-star hotel would usually come with these facilities. Breakfast is also extra $.
3/ Staff couldn't really understand English very well except for one new manager (male). In general they were nice and tried to help. However, they didn't provide a professional feel, more casual, like a hostel's service.
4/ The elevator is scary as. THERE ARE MIRRORS ALL OVER THE ROOM! Maybe to make the small rooms look larger. As a person who does not like mirrors, this was a small problem for me. I asked to swap but very single room had just as many mirrors.
5/ Weird location at the end of an alleyway, downstairs is a weird bar. Noisy at night except Monday nights. 1.2 km from Gallarate train station. Walkable with small luggage. MUST WALK PAST LARGE CEMETERY. Make sure you get there early enough to avoid the cemetery at night. Gallarate was a weird place in general. In hindsight, I wished I had stayed in Varese (just one stop away and on the same train line as the airport). Palace Grand Hotel Varese was the most beautiful historic hotel overlooking a forest and lake. They also included free breakfast and the price was the same as Jet Hotel. I wish I had stayed at Palace Grand Hotel Varese for my entire visit to this part of Italy. Varese is such a cute small town.”

“Kind of extraordinary circumstances, as the airport in Munich closed due to storm "Ciara" / "Sabine" and we were diverted here, leading to a lot of people arriving at once.
The first room I got was not cleaned yet, but I got a different one after inspection by the manager.
Breakfast was nice. Rooms might need a new paint, but are clean.”
