“The afternoon tea was a little below average. So very disappointing considering all the dining options at the Peninsula are really exquisite. The decor needs a massive uplift. Looks like a corporate conference room setting; sterile and uninviting. The wait staff was their saving grace. Four different very small and average sandwiches per person, one mini quiche (awful tasting) and a sweets plate which was practically ONLY raspberry flavored was highly disappointing for $85. Waitstaff earned this afternoon tea experience a second star, otherwise this would have been a one-star review based on offerings and ambience.”
