Guests will also be 13 minutes' walk from Centennial Park. The garden courtyard pool is topped by a retractable glass atrium ceiling. “Pool was out of use and when we enquired we were promised it would be available the following day but it was not. We were offered complimentary breakfast on our last day to compensate which was nice and unasked for. But on the morning there were issues and they tried to make us pay for three breakfast. The lady on reception that morning was rude. Service in the bar was slow both evenings and the barman was dismissive, prices high. Waitresses serving tables for dinner were nice and cheerful. Our rooms were awful: completely dark as the windows opened to a covered patio. The decor was outdated. The photos online do not represent what you find there. This hotel has clearly seen better days. Location was the only good thing in terms to walking to places. There was always a queue in reception.”

“After reading all these reviews, it's making me nervous to stay here. Can you assure that all these concerns have been dealt with from elevator not working (which i read is several reviews from several different dates) cleanliness of rooms, lighting in guest rooms, hotel restaurant closed. This is a big deal if there is no where close to eat and we are traveling in from out of town being concerned for our safety. i'm fine with the hotel being dated, that's not an issue but cleanliness, lighting and somewhere to eat is very important”
