Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas, Yanahuara

Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas

The resort is located 10 km from Urubamba near Yanahuara, in a charming and modest rural community 90 km northwest of Cusco. It is located 500 metres from the main road from the valley, on an asphalt road linking the town of Urubamba to Ollantaytambo fortress. Similar to a mountain retreat with fabulous views of the Andes, this 92-room, club resort has more than 3 hectares of grounds and enjoys fresh air and tranquillity. The resort has a planetarium and observatory of stars and constellations of the vast Southern hemisphere sky and the Alma Restaurant. The resort features a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities, as well as a cloakroom, a children's playground and a café. The resort offers a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities, wireless Internet access and room service, as well as a car park and a garage. The superior en suite rooms, similar to the classic mountain chalet, are very spacious (32 m²), warmly decorated and elegantly rustic, with white stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings. With 2 full-size beds or 1 king bed and balcony or separate breakfast area and carpeting or parquet floor the guest will feel right at home. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a bath and a hairdryer and all rooms feature a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and a safe as well as tea and coffee making facilities and central heating. All rooms have either a balcony or a terrace. An extraordinary full-service spa awaits visitors to this hotel as well as a gym, sun loungers and parasols. For an additional fee payable locally a hot, sauna, steam room and massage treatments are available. In addition to a breakfast buffet, the hotel offers à la carte options for both lunch and dinner. From Cusco by taxi, the trip takes approximately 70 minutes via Chinchero and 90 minutes via Pisac. The hotel is located only 20 minutes from the Ollantaytambo train station (trains to and from Cusco to Machu Picchu).

“Handy for Sacred Valley sites. Large, central reception, restaurant, bar. Rooms are in blocks around the parkland gardens with walkways from room to hotel. Our room was an 8 minute walk back to centre. Meals in bar and restaurant were good. Room was very large, with all expected facilities. This is a very good place to stay.”
— Doug Neilson
“Awesome place to stay at. Just wished the road going into the hotel was finished and not so bumpy - and ideally they would also have an oxygen tank for guests staying there that are affected by the high altitude.”
