The only downside of this Riu is that it's about 2 hours from the airport and a hefty 100.00 cab ride!! Otherwise the staff is wonderful!! Clean rooms!!

Me encantó. Es la primera vez que voy. Buena comida y muy surtida. Buena atención de los bartenders. Pero...... hubo una salonera, omito el nombre, fue grosera al atendernos, somos ese dia 12 personas y estamos buscando una mesa grande, la encontramos pero les faltaba los cubiertos de 6 personas, me sale la salonera que busque otra mesa porque ella estaba ocupada y no podia poner los cubiertos que faltaban. Si ella es la que tenia la carretilla de los cubiertos. No se que tiempo le iba a quitar. Siempre habrá forma de decir las cosas amablemente. Que vaya a estudiar atención al cliente. Por lo demás es un buen hotel para ir con la familia.

Las piscinas, habitaciones siempre limpias, su personal muy atento. El restaurante de carnes 10/10

Los protocolos de Covid 19 hacen un poco tedioso la estadía. Pero sus comidas y bebidas siguen siendo excelentes.

El hotel está bien, las habitaciones son cómodas y hay piscinas grandes. La playa es muy amplia. La comida de los restaurantes no fue tan buena, especialmente en el italiano no nos fue bien.

Es bonito el hotel. Recomendado para pasar unas vacaciones en familia y en pareja también, divertido, hay muchas actividades acuáticas que se pueden realizar. Música alegre para disfrutar, la comida en los restaurantes y en el buffet buena y la atención también. En general todo bien..♥️

This was my 1st solo trip the resort is far from the airport 2hr 30 mins, but meet a lot of great locals on the resort even the staff was great very friendly and helpful. They have 3 pools I stayed in the adult one mostly! They did serve lunch by the pool the entertainment was OK love the live band my last night that I was there. Loved my view of the ocean!!! My room was big and up to date. And I did needed wash clothes and they brought them right to me. They also offer covid testing right which is great! I will be back in a soon, and I can’t wait.

All inclusive hotel with 3 pools where activities are taking place, the facilities in the rooms may be better there are certain details overlooked.the food is so-so, it is best enjoyed at breakfast.the beach is quite dangerous you have to be careful, it is better to cool off in the pool

My visit to Panama over was good. They could've let us know that it was a 2 hour drive from the airport to the resort. The food was the same all 4 days that we were there.

The food at the buffet was great. I think though the waitresses need some training on how to serve guests. At one point one was stretching over my food. And I don't if it because they are wearing masks but they look unapproachable. If I need some more water or juice I was just not going to ask because of how they looked. But nice hotel. Nice food

This Riu is completely run down and was a huge disappointment. This location is not synonymous with the Riu brand in their other locations across the world. The rooms are small and look dinghy. The towels, bedsheets, and pillows are all worn down and look very used. They try to cover some of the defects by painting here and there but when the walls, bathroom and closet doors all are different shades of white (or needing painting altogether) it looks terrible. The halls and buildings look more like a prison or some sort of old, medical institution. The food for the most part was not good, especially in the themed restaurants. The food was and even the water for hot tea and coffee lukewarm never hot. The liquor brands and wine are quite cheap and the drinks are all watered down. I've stayed at many resorts abroad and this was the worst I've stayed in. I will say that the service and attention, especially with front desk staff, supervisor of housekeeping, bartenders, and wait staff was top notch. They tried their best to meet demands and needs. Staff also worked hard to keep the place clean. I had a few issues and needs (room was quite small and I wanted a corner room which they promptly gave me but it was dirty with blood on floors, stains everywhere, and missing items) and they were addressed promptly. I was only there with my family for 3 nights and that was enough for me. I feel bad for the staff and visitors to this Riu that are expecting it to be like other Riu's. Edited to add: I just looked at the pictures the hotel provides and they are so bad. First, they use all white colored people at the buffet, pools, etc which is deceiving and a bit racist because there are a lot (if not mostly all) of people of color who visit and work at this hotel. Also, the rooms pictured look new with new linens, and with pictures/decorations on the walls. Our rooms did not have any nice or brightly colored curtains or linens on the bed and only had 1 painting or picture and the rest of the walls were bare. Just awful.

Good resort! It's all inclusive, but bring your own yeti cup because their pours are lacking, however bring the yeti will save you some trips to the bar. The events at the hotel are entertaining but I wish that they had more during the week. The shows were enjoyable. The food was ok for buffet dining. Also you need to know that you are an hour and half from Panama city so no city tours. Lastly the provide Covid tests free of charge and provide shuttle service to the airport.

Beautiful place to visit! The hotel employees were excellent with helping with any request! The beach was beautiful, the food was very tasteful! They had something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters.

Bom hotel, boa comida e boa equipe. Infelizmente a praia não estava muito bonita. O parque aquático no hotel é legal. Ficamos só uma noite e fomos no restaurante Italiano, valeu a pena.

I had a wonderfull experience with Domingo @ the front desk. The staffs were very good. Only one thing I need to suggest. Reduces the levels of the salt in the foods.

The hotel is awesome! The customer service is excellent! The hotel is 2hrs from the airport, but it is so worth it! The excursions are affordable and worthwhile! The shows are entertaining! Everything is affordable! I highly recommend it!

Ha desmejorado mucho su calidad. Hacía tiempo que no iba pero lo recordaba mucho mejor en cuanto a comidas y sobre todo bebidas. La discoteca CERRADA 😠 entiendo que era domingo, pero para eso vamos hasta allá, para distraernos sea cual sea el día. Me tuve que meter a dormir en cuanto terminó el show, no había nada más que hacer.

Was here for a week. Really enjoyed everything. Food was excellent for an all inclusive resort. Staff was friendly. Beach was nice as well as all the pools. Lots of daily activities. The gym was a joke. Most of the equivalent was broken and unusable. The nightly shows were not very good and not much to do in the evening but overall definitely worth it for the price!

My husband and I stay at this hotel during our trip to Panama. The hotel is more inland and away from the city life. It’s about 2.5hrs away from the airport which we never calculated until the actual drive. The hotel staff is great, our room was clean and the food plenty. There was a water park for families with children and a night club and entertainment at the hotel. If you plan to stay on hotel premises, I would only recommend staying only a few days. We booked 7 nights at this hotel but only stayed 5 nights because we wanted to visit the City and it’s night life. We booked another hotel for this two nights and that hotel was amazing and the life in the city is more fats paced. Overall nice hotel. Would stay again but with the kids this time.

Overall the hotel is pretty decent. Food is severely lacking. Maybe that is just with most resorts? Did not eat well for the 3 days I was there. Also found the rooms to be very stuffy, seemed like wife and I would get dry coughs and stuffed noses as soon as we entered our room. Was kind of weird. Pool was nice, hotel staff were very friendly, beach area was decent.

Muy buen hotel All Inclusive. La atención es muy buena. Falta un lugar para niños, algún kid club o algo similar. La mayoría de los huespedes son de Canadá o EEUU, por lo cual la mayoría de las actividades están orientadas para ese público.

Paseo familiar. Me gustó el acceso a los restaurantes a la carta. No me gustó mucho la playa pero tenía buena disponibilidad en piscinas.

Reservation free dining was a headache. Food is good, hotel is good, needs some work. We had ants in our room, the safe needed to be fixed, ac would only cool the room to 23.5. Staff was for the most part nice, pools were great, property was clean and well maintained. Would definitley come back.

O hotel era para ser 5 estrelas, mas não é. A comida é bem fraca. Não tem shampoo no banheiro e nem condicionador (leve o seu porque comprar lá é caríssimo - 8 dólares americanos um pequeno). Não tem staff suficiente para servir nos restaurantes, o que sobrecarrega os trabalhadores, que tentam ao máximo atender a todos. O pessoal de staff é muito receptivo e agradável e não estão sendo simpáticos para ganhar gorgeta igual vemos em alguns hoteis - do bar, animação, camareira, recepcão, garçons, todos. Isso é um ponto forte no qual faz as pessoas voltarem.De um modo geral, tivemos uma boa estadia.

Es un lugar muy seguro y tranquilo para ir en familia sobre todo para los panameños en estelugar no vas a encontrar gente chacal como en otros resort creo que fue una de las cosas que más me gustó también es más exclusivo menos desorden pero bien divertido siempre hay algo que hacer.

Las instalaciones son buenas, aunque falta mejorar la mantención ya que cuando llegamos, nuestra habitación tenía problemas; también deben mejorar la aislación de la discoteca ya que en las habitaciones se escucha la música retumbando. Es para todo tipo de público, familias, parejas o solteros que quieran pasarlo bien. El personal de servicio es muy amable y atento. La playa es muy tranquila por lo que es recomendable para niños pequeños... Si es que se quieren salir de la piscina con toboganes.

Panama is a lovely country and great and accommodating to travel to! Riu however had been slightly underwhelming. No room service and limited access to all inclusive benefits like drinks during certain hours makes places like Mexico more appealing: I don’t know if this is specific to Riu or Panama but would have loved to have known this going in. Overall a solid 3 stars.

The room is comfortable but a hot shower is nowhere to be found. The food is decent. The friendly and helpful staff are the best part. Food,drinks and alcohol are truly included, as well as some water activities. Scuba diving and jet skis are extra. Dive sites are limited and no deeper than 45 feet or 15 meters.

Um pouco decepcionada, já estive hospedada no Riu Palace Punta Cana, achei que era igual, os quartos são menores, não tem shampoo e kit de higiene, o wi-fi só funciona no lobby e nos restaurantes, não tem todos os drinks no cardápio, não tem serviço de bar na praia, o restaurante principal é uma bagunça, pode melhorar muito.

Não tão luxuoso como em Punta Cana, mas, pessoas atenciosas, todas as refeições com muita fartura!

It’s not really a resort you can enjoy. It’s a hotel you can get somewhere . Can’t swim in the ocean cause cold and dirty. Full of black sands and dangerous deep. Food is ok . Bathroom issues in our rooms interior colour is mostly grey. Expensive than the Caribbean country and long flight from Toronto. My last trip to Panama . I prefer to go my vacations just to Cuba.

Long review ahead. This hotel was recommended by our travel agent as a 5-Star Hotel. For starters, I don't consider it to be a 5-star. First of all, customer service needs major improvement. You don't get any service or drink by the pool, you need to get it yourself. Staff is friendly animation is cool. Room service is a laborious process. There's four restaurants in the hotel only one of them is a la carte, the rest is all Buffet. Food Lacks variety. Rooms are pretty basic. Kids club is pretty much uninteresting. Overall our stay was okay besides a couple of incidents we've witnessed (fights, 3 a.m.disturbance, no help from the staff after an accident). From all the all-inclusives we've been to, this was our first time where we've experienced such alarming events. We complained and reported everything to the management and they did offer us an upgrade, but by the time we've met them, we were reaching the end of our Trip. For all these reasons. I give it 2 stars. It needs to be more consistent and improve its standards.
