“The lobby is very impressive when you walk in, but after that don’t get your hopes up.
-The rate seems reasonable but you’ll have a resort fee per day without any service or activities.
-Our room was decently clean but was not cleaned or restocked in between days.
-I tried to call ahead to ask for connecting rooms but they didn’t answer the phone.
-When we got there and asked for connecting rooms they didn’t have any that were available cleaned and ready. But the hotel felt like a ghost town.
-August is off season so it not being busy was nice, but it’s a destination location but nothing to do. I’m surprised that there are good reviews. -Don’t expect that because it’s a Marriott hotel you will have Marriott pillows. The pillows were awful.
-The pool was pretty great. But the lounger pads are so gross and stained.
-The fitness center has not been vacuumed in forever and the water dispenser had a yellow mold.

“We have stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas twice. The property is beautiful and pool and surrounding area breathtaking. Pricing is very reasonable and it is so close to Las Vegas, however, away from the hustle and bustle. The reason for the three rating is our most recent stay. Staff was super friendly and all was enjoyable. The reason for my three rating a cabana charge we were not told about in advance and the oh so difficult process about getting it resolved. It was simply unbelievable. We called two months in advance to book a cabana, asking about a charge for it we were told free - Showing up after TWO hours into the day, we get a bill for $250. Talking to the front desk supervisor at end of the day, she was absolutely horrible to deal with. She could do nothing to help and refused to provide their general managers contact info, only the assistant email. Days later, I got it squared away and they said it would be refunded... Two months later and it has not been. Horrible experience with personnel, however, very beautiful resort.”
