“I’m still trying to figure out how this hotel has a 4.4 rating from guests. The room was just mediocre - the linen and bathroom towels, etc had spots and stains - the bed linen also had stains and felt icky. I’ve never been so ready to be back in my own bed at a hotel. And to think I paid more to be in this hotel.
The one plus is location. We stayed over Thanksgiving - Black Friday shopping was a breeze. In Union square and not too far from soho. The customer service was OK. Front desk was awesome.
Everything was pretty much closed (bar (library) and rooftop) but the restaurant was open - great drinks there and OK food.”

“Balcony room on 2nd floor. Balcony was great. However the room was a disappointment. It was clean, but not fabulous in any way. Using the bathroom is shared experience with no noise privacy. The sink is in not in the bathroom and is outside of the toilet. It’s an odd setup that screams efficiency. No complimentary or even pay-to-eat/drink items in the room. Convenient location, but you will pay for that by having a room that will be outclassed by a typical dorm room.”
