Just visited this resort with my wife and 2 small children. Fell in love with the resort.Excellent food,great customer service,and everything is easy to walk to since it's a smaller resort. We also got lucky we went when there was a break in the seaweed and we got to enjoy the beach.All around a great time, will definitely be going back.

Update: still no response....: The amenities were okay. Not alot to do on the resort. But beware of the lies they tell you. We purchased a membership from Ivan H. And got in writing a $500 credit and they did not honor it. We will be canceling. Also, they made us late for our transportation and said we had to pay for it. Such a horrible horrible way to end vacation. Will never return. Do Not suggest.. Mentirosos. ::update:: emailed them and still no response:as of 9/28 no response

Absolutely the best vacation I could’ve ever dreamed of. The staff and food are what makes this place a top tier resort. The views and great entertainment only added to the fun. We had roughly 30 guests for a wedding reception fly in from the US and the only negative we could mention is the lack of email results for Covid testing which was done on the resort. We were all accommodated our results the next day by the concierge in the lobby in time but it still caused anxiety for some. Aside from that I felt as though the staff was beyond incredible. I didn’t know service existed at this level. They made all of us so happy everywhere and every moment they could. Gloria-coordinated our week to perfection, Martha!! Feliz Cumpleanos!!-she was literally running back and forth with our drinks and has a heart of gold, Sofi the volleyball star-I hope she gets paid well she’s high energy and very fun, and of course the MC of all events-Omar.. he has a great personality. The restaurants’ food, drinks, chefs, waiters, hostess’.. absolute perfection. I could go on and on, but please show this to Gloria and Martha especially. They are two beautiful souls we are so happy to have met and the reason we plan to go back. Thank you.

A comida é muito rica!!! Os quartos confortáveis !! A atenção do pessoal é muito boa! Fazem com que você se sinta muito confortável durante a sua estadia. O único problema são as praias, não são as melhores, mas o hotel vale a pena!

Apesar de ter pago a reserva 1 mes antes da chegada, quando chegamos no quarto vimos que só tinha uma cama de casal King site, quando havíamos solicitado 2 camas queen...informaram que não havia quarto disponível com as 2 camas e somente no dia seguinte fizeram a mudança de quarto!

La comida es muy rica!!!Los cuartos cómodos!! La atención del personal es muy buena! Te hacen sentir muy cómodo durante la estancia.. Lo único son sus playas, no son las mejores, pero vale la pena el hotel!

Minha família e eu amávamos Generations Riviera Maya. O quarto / vista era linda e a equipe foi extremamente amigável. Embora houvesse muitas algas no mar, nos divertimos muito na piscina e relaxamos nas camas bali. Omar, Kevin, Sofia e Fanny eram uma equipe de entretenimento incrível, e todos eles tornaram nossa experiência ainda melhor. As atividades e shows foram uma das nossas partes favoritas da viagem! Eles até saíram de seu caminho para comemorar o aniversário da minha mãe e decorar para ela. Definitivamente, eu recomendaria este resort!

Generations is the family side of the resort and it's pretty busy with music and noise all the time. Staff is friendly the restaurants are really decent. And you can enjoy the pool and swim out but you can't go to the beaches because of the seaweed and the smell of the water

My family and I loved Generations Riviera Maya. The room/view was beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though there was a lot of seaweed in the sea, we had an amazing time by the pool and relaxing on the bali beds. Omar, Kevin, Sofia, and Fanny were an amazing entertainment team, and they all made our experience even better. The activities and shows were one of our favorite parts of the trip! They even went out of their way to celebrate my mom's birthday and decorate for her. I would definitely recommend this resort!

Hotel ideal para quienes gustan viajar en familia. Gran parte de sus habitaciones tienen acceso directo a la piscina, su playa no es su fortaleza , pero tiene excelentes vistas y la calidad de su gastronomía es excelente . Recomiendo el Restaurante Italiano.

If you're looking for a great vacation this is the place. All inclusive gourmet food. Stunning rooms with unbelievable views. Drinks everywhere. Super nice staff everywhere. Everyone says hello and if they can do something for you. Luis our butler was over the top with service. Making reservations for us to eat, providing information on what's all going on at the resorts. Even got me flowers and a card for my wife on mother's day. The room was stocked up every day. 10 bottle bar with all you need. Snacks along with 2 refrigerators loaded with beer soda sparkling water. Our room was a swim up balcony with infinity pool. Jump in anytime you want! The transportation to and from the airport was great. Do not hesitate booking this place. The off resort activities were awesome. We swam with dolphins and went on a 3hr catamaran snorkeling trip. Sun and definitely a booze cruise! Great time. We did deep sea fishing and caught 3 barracuda all over 40 inches. I cannot say enough about this place and we will be back again. The highlight was the Mexican fiesta night.It was outside and they had killer food and killer entertainment. If you become a member there you also get member dinners. This time it was on the roof top wedding area overlooking the resort and beach. Excellent food and service by Daniel. Oh and drinks! They also will do private dinners and this time we were out on the covered pier over the ocean. It is an experience of a lifetime. The gift shops and vendors are great. Allows you to get nice souvenirs and gifts to take home that are not overpriced. Just do it! You won't be sorry.

Amazing resort with multiple options for entertainment and dining that's all inclusive. Had a ton of fun here. Great for families. Our room was luxurious and is perfect for a romantic trip. You also have access to 2 other resorts so it's all well worth it!

Pros: Good food, good selection of drinks, tons of pools, friendly staff. Cons: Slow service. Housekeeping didn't get to us until the 2nd day. Large resort so bring comfortable shoes if you plan on exploring. Cooling/heating system in rooms seems to have a mind of their own. I'd turn off the ac but there was a mysterious draft coming from somewhere else. Finally a lot of the staff seemed misinformed about when restaurants/bars open and close. Would only recommend to couples but stay on the adult side.

Mediocre resort at best. Felt like a spring break hotel for adults. Not impressed at all by the breakfast buffet. Dinners have been good but expect limited options if you bring a child. You can only bring a baby to 3 total dinner spots. Service has been fair at best and everywhere you look you can find garbage that hasn’t been cleaned up. This place completely dropped the ball for us..I actually called other hotels nearby to change our reservation..absolutely would not recommend staying here..spend the extra money and stay at the grand vellas down the road.

Generations Riviera Maya, together with the two El Dorado resorts on the same beach property are a little corner of heaven. A gated, well-secured one, with an authentic yet modern Mexican feel. The resorts have all the amenities you can think of, and then some, and if you're looking for an escape, this is the way to do it. At Generations, which is a kid-friendly property, every room on the hotel's first three floors opens directly to an infinity pool, with a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea. The rooms are massive, with spacious bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms, each with their own large-screen TV. The air conditioning is excellent. Since this is an all-inclusive resort, all the comfort also comes with continuously stocked fridges and eight different restaurants, each with its own personality and carefully executed delicious cuisine. The property is all beach-front, with pristine beaches thoroughly cleaned every morning. There are chaises all across the beach, as well as amazing Bali beds outfitted with fresh linens every day, and staffed with servers taking drink orders. The staff is helpful and attentive, and seem to really enjoy their jobs. The majority speak English. After spending five days at Generations, it was hard returning to the reality of paying for food and drinks and not having any infinity pools or Bali beds around. I'm looking forward to my next visit, because I'm definitely going back.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and it was amazing! We stayed for 2 weeks and there were so many restaurants to try and things to do, we had a great time. My parents stayed part of the time as well. The swim out pools were great and I love that you can easily walk or take a golf cart between their other sister resorts. Night time was definitely best spent at Dorado.

Beautiful resort. Things are far apart so expect to walk to shuttle It often. Beaches are clean and gorgeous. So many options of restaurants, a few that are child friendly. It is attached to El Dorado which is adults only. Amazing option and definitely a higher level hotel to escape to for quieter more beautiful pools etc options. Facilities and rooms are very clean. Expect critters, you are in the middle of a jungle after all. This is a good family friendly option. Besides the lack of shuttle response and long wait times, enjoyed our stay.
