“The location and staff are great. There is a great gym you have access to. Our only complaint were the beds. You would expect a nicer mattress for $600 a night. It was a hard cheap feel that I couldn’t wait to not sleep on again.”

“Had afternoon tea with my 3 quiet teenage daughters on August 23. The atmosphere with the harpist was very nice and the staff was friendly and not busy. The service in general was disappointing. No milk was offered with the tea and we had to ask for the cutlery that was missing on the table as the service staff didn't even notice it when they served the food. No extra tea was offered during the time we were there so we asked for it and they didn't remove all the empty tea pots when the new tea was brought ( imagine what a table for 4 looks like with 8 tea pots on it). No saucers under the tea pots. The tea was not poured for us. They did offer more sandwiches but not more of the cakes and scones. I think that in a 5 star hotel ice/tap water should be served without having to ask for it. Nobody asked us if we had enjoyed it at the end. The restaurant was very quiet and there was enough staff available to have offered better standard.”
