“We stayed at The Cape this past week for our fifth time and once again it was nothing short of amazing. Rocio, concierge extraordinaire, was there to greet us and went above and beyond to assist with even minor requests throughout our trip. Moses at the Ledge remembered us from our last visit and remembered our breakfast order each day providing top notch service. Aldo who is one of my favorite staff members at the pool unfortunately was not working the pool that week but he set us up with Bull who was super attentive and took care of us all week. We did a private dinner at our rooftop villa which I would highly recommend. General Manager, Eduardo, has his staff on point and took the time to greet us and other guests around the resort, even showing us about the tequilas the resort partners to make. Talk about going above expectations. I cannot wait to book our next trip. A stay here truly makes you feel like family. Thanks Eduardo, Rocio, Moses, Aldo and Bull for a wonderful week!”

“You come to the Cape for one thing: the incredible views and a waterfront terrain second to none in Los Cabos. You don't come for the hotel, because it's overpriced unless booking with points, and the JW Marriott is cheaper, cleaner, quieter, less schizophrenic as a property, and is much more impressive. You don't come for the pool because it's one tub full of old orange people who forgot to reapply... yesterday, and a bunch of suicidal surfers who enjoy playing dodgeball with coastal rock formations. You might go for the scenic bar scene because it's nonstop top 40s and throwbacks here, and downtown is 15 minutes too far away. You might go because Costco, Walmart, and El Fresko are nearby - and... I actually have nothing untoward to say about that. You might come for the service - to be pampered and taken care of.Yes, maybe they were a bit zealous to barge into our room just to check our minibar despite our protests that we were fine, and perhaps they shouldn't serviced our room when we told them repeatedly that we would call for it if we needed it, and maybe ... they shouldn't have just taken all our towels and left their cleaning supplies on our sink and on top of our toiletries... but hey, it's Cabo. You might also come for the food because Manta is halfway decent, but also keep in mind this place proudly displays its $25 for three small tacos, $20 for its famous french toast, or $33 for an angus beef burger with oysters in it as a reflection of the exquisite culinary taste and astute, worldly clientele of this property. It's not like you're in an exotic foreign country and forced to pay whatever the cost, you can literally go up the street and get a totally sufficient $4 whole slow roasted chicken from Costco that's better than anything on the room service menu. But, despite my incessant shoveling, should you make your way to stay at the Cape - I doubt you'll leave unhappy. The rooms are nice, the architecture is hipster modern, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean and thoughtful, but most of all, everyone was delightfully friendly and accommodating, which is actually a lot considering that the clientele this hotel attracts can truly be the worst kind of White Lotus tourists (myself included). We are rude, entitled, selfish, unrealistically demanding, and oblivious to the cultures and customs of those around us and our wake of destruction, massaging it out of our collective conscience with a liberal of application of foreign currency.”
