If you want to hang by the pool and drink all day, Sandals is for you. If you want a good chance to get in the water and see all the Bahamas has to offer, highly suggest renting a house or condo, supporting the local economy, and avoiding squandering your money on a regrettable vacation. -The beach was under red flag conditions for the entirety of our 8 day stay; understanding the weather is beyond their control, the conditions were not truly dangerous conditions that would warrant a red flag like I have seen during tropical storms in the Outer Banks. They are extremely overly cautious and we were not able to take out any of the included water toys. Unsure if the red flag is meant to account for the influence of alcohol on the guests staying there, but it was frustrating that it never came down, even at night, making us feel as if there was no real reevaluation of conditions at any point. -Even as any wind would die down in the afternoons and evenings, the red flag would not change because the water sports shop closes at 4, meaning there's no opportunity to get any water toys out in the potentially calmer evening hours. -The included snorkel/dive shop that Sandals uses did not go out a single day we were there. Amazingly, the paid excursions you can book through Sandals managed to go out 6/8 days! They have no incentive to get guests out there. -The watersports shop continued to tell us, "it should be better later today/tomorrow" and string us along with news of snorkel/dive cancellations, partly trapping us as we hoped we could get what we'd paid for rather than paying for additional off-resort excursions. For the high price we paid, I would have expected Sandals to go above and beyond to enable us to get on the water - looking at alternate dive sites that the paid excursions may visit (many other protected cays around the island), adjusting water sports hours to better match weather conditions, or offering discounted excursions when they were unable to get out. We booked at Sandals because we were unsure of our abilities and comfort navigating Exuma alone, but in hindsight, we would have had an infinitely better and more affordable experience staying on the economy and working with the locals (who are all very friendly, helpful, and awesome). This was our first all-inclusive experience and it will likely be our last. Recommend seeing Exuma on the economy and avoiding Sandals altogether.

Best vacation ever! My husband and I stayed here for four nights. We enjoyed the nightly and daily activities. The food was great! The drunken ducks chicken wings were the best we have ever had. The French restaurant had amazing steak dinner. We had so much fun. The employees are the kindest people I have ever met. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great.

The resort was lovely, although in need of the planned upgrades they will be doing this year. The Butler service made this trip spectacular. Marcelino and Aylin made sure our every need was taken care of, whether way out on the golf course, on the far end of the beautiful beach, at one of the many pools or even at the many restaurants (breakfast delivery to our room was a favorite as well). The golf course is beautiful, especially with 7 ocean holes. The restaurants are generally good, with two being wonderful for both food and service (the sushi and the Indian restaurants). A great experience!

The most pristine beach I've ever visited! The property was well-kept and gorgeous, with many amenities: Main pool, quiet pool, water toys, game room, many dining choices, etc! The quality of the food was terrific at each dining experience, and better than most other all-inclusive brands we've visited. Overall, a fantastic vacation experience... Here comes the "but"... ...But, The room was a bit simple/dated, found ants in the sink several times, and the shower door was hanging off the tile. No jacuzzi tub, or other 'wow' factor. We asked 3 separate times for a bottle of chardonnay to be added to our mini fridge instead of the champagne - never received it. And, we paid extra (A vacation ‘Add-on’) for a private Candlelight Dinner on the beach, booked more than a month in advance, to occur on the last night of our trip. We were very disappointed to arrive to our scheduled dinner and find that our table was not set on the beach, nor was it private. Our table was set up against a small wall, in a corner of the tower over the pool. While another couple enjoyed the center space of the tower with actual views of the beach. We could hear their conversations, and it was all just awkward. We were disappointed and would rather have spent the cash on an excursion. Having “splurged” for this vacation and paid almost double to learn what the Sandals experience was all about; we felt a bit underwhelmed. We’ve had similar or better service experiences with other All-Inclusive brands for half the price.

So disappointed. Spent 12 grand on a vacation and the schedule is not even written down correctly. Room is not clean. Previous beer can under the bureau. Dead bolt hanging. And to top It off only on day 3. Golf 8:50 am and then swim with the pigs in blue to be told my schedule was to swim with the pigs in the morning. Never Sandals again.

We celebrated our honeymoon here. We had a very nice time. The food was really good and so was the service. Rooms were average but everything was cleaned everyday. We did have butler service and I feel like that does make a difference. Having a butler we didn’t need to worry about reservations etc. the grounds are kept in amazing shape. It’s a beautiful resort. Beach is clean and water is stunning. Our favorite butler was Samson. He went above and beyond for us. Everyone we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. I love the cats on the property too.

In for a couples trip celebrating 40th birthdays. Most amazing beaches I've ever seen. Water is amazing. Food was average, room was average. Service was disappointing. We spent over 20 hours with 4 couples on the beach and not once did anyone come and take a food or drink order. When we went to the bar to get our own drinks the 6 bar tenders seemed annoyed. This is a golf resort that didn't have a drink cart and you had to pay for drinks. Staff was not the issue as they had plenty of people working, yet no one was focused on attending customers. We paid a premium for this trip vs. many other all inclusive experiences. Great memories with friends, but a big miss on what could have been if Sandals was customer focused.

Went here with my wife for our honeymoon at the beginning of Jan 22, very happy with the overall experience. Service was great from being picked up at the airport to our ride back. Hotel staff were smiling and helpful, beach was beautiful with soft sand and bright blue water. Pool was well kept with a convenient bar, never had the feeling of the place being too busy, nice and relaxing. Food was great, our favorite was French and Hibachi. The swimming with the pigs excursion was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend this destination.

Omg! Where do I start? Love this little island. Make sure to rent a Jeep and explore the island. It is super safe and simply beautiful! Sandal’s Emerald Bay is so beautiful and quiet. The beach is beyond beautiful. Pictures doesn’t do it justice! From the room to the service is excellent!

The housekeeping custodian lady, her name is Cherine if I didn’t spell wrong, or Cherie. She is the best. Really really helpful. When our room’s phone was not working she walked all the way to order some food for us, and that was not her job. So really appreciate her help! And wish could have done something for her.

Tivemos um tempo maravilhoso no Sandals Emerald Bay, Exuma Bahamas. Toda a equipe do resort foi profissional, amigável e acolhedora. Eles nos fizeram sentir como se estivessem realmente contentes por estarmos ali. A comida era boa, algumas refeições melhores que outras, mas nada do que reclamar. Os jardins eram imaculados, o nosso quarto era limpo e confortável. Quando estávamos no resort, passamos a maior parte do nosso tempo na piscina principal. A equipe no bar da piscina foi uma explosão. Havia muitas cadeiras e toalhas. A praia estava absolutamente linda e, oh, aqueles amanheceres, simplesmente de tirar o fôlego! Heston no club lounge é imperdível. Os shows que os criadores de peças fizeram foram muito divertidos. Este resort tinha um cliental mais antigo, estamos em nossos quarenta e poucos anos, éramos a idade média dos turistas lá. É um resort tranquilo, há coisas para fazer à noite, mas não é um resort de festas de forma alguma. Tenho dito aos meus amigos e familiares que este lugar era mágico para a alma.

We had a wonderful time at Sandals Emerald Bay, Exuma Bahamas.The entire staff on resort were professional, friendly and welcoming.They made us feel as though they were truly glad we were there.The food was good, some meals better than others, but nothing to complain about.The grounds were pristine, our room was clean and comfortable.When we were on resort, we spent most of our time at the main pool.The crew at the pool bar were a blast.There were plenty of chairs and towels.The beach was absolutely beautiful and oh, those sunrises, just breathtaking! Heston in the club lounge is not to be missed.The shows that the playmakers put on were a lot of fun.This resort had an older cliental, we are in our mid-forties, we were the average age of vacationers there.It is a quiet resort, there are things to do at night, but it is not a party resort by any means.I have been telling my friends and family that this place was magic for the soul.

Os funcionários foram todos excelentes !! Minha esposa e eu recebemos um excelente atendimento ao cliente em todos os lugares onde fomos, minha única decepção foram os clubes de aluguel de baixa qualidade fornecidos no curso de design Greg Norman. Sandals precisa atualizar seu equipamento eles eram clubes que se encontraria em um mercado de pulgas as vistas no campo de golfe eram espetaculares !!!

Staff were all outstanding!! My wife and I received Excellent customer service every where we went my only disappointment was the poor quality rental clubs provided at the Greg Norman design course. Sandals needs to upgrade their equipment they were clubs one would find at a flea market the views at the golf course were spectacular!!!

A equipe foi tão genuinamente simpática e acolhedora. Nosso quarto era incrível e limpo. O resort foi além de bonito. Os barmen foram simpáticos e muito divertidos. O entretenimento foi o melhor que eu já vi em qualquer resort Sandals em que estivemos e em vários. Chegamos no Halloween e o show que eles fizeram foi espetacular! Não posso dizer o suficiente sobre este lugar e as pessoas maravilhosas. Já estamos agendando uma visita de retorno em alguns meses com um monte de amigos. Este é absolutamente nosso lugar favorito!

I couldn't wait to review this resort. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and from the moment we arrived at the resort to the moment we left, we were so impressed with this resort. The staff was so genuinely friendly and accommodating. Our room was amazing and clean. The resort was beyond beautiful. The bartenders were friendly and so much fun. The entertainment was the best I have seen at any Sandals resort we have been to and we have been to several. We arrived on Halloween and the show they put on was spectacular! I can't say enough about this place and the wonderful people. We are already booking a return visit in a couple of months with bunch of friends. This is absolutely our favorite place!

Resort absolutamente fenomenal. Nós passamos a lua de mel aqui e foi a perfeição. Mesmo quando o tempo não estava ótimo, ainda era divertido. O processo de check-in foi fácil e direto. Tudo o que precisávamos, a mesa foi capaz de fornecer para nós. O quarto era limpo e lindo, com uma vista fantástica. Todos os 11 restaurantes foram fantásticos. A academia deixou muito a desejar, mas a equipe da academia era tão divertida e adorável, que deu certo. Os barmen realmente conseguiram, grite para Tevin e Daria. A brincadeira deles era hilária e eles sempre se lembravam do que bebíamos, apesar de quantos convidados cuidavam. Faça a excursão dos porcos! Vale muito a pena!

Táxis privados de e para o resort. Muitos funcionários disponíveis para ajudar com qualquer coisa, muito rápido, extremamente agradável. Há muito espaço no resort e vimos muito poucas pessoas, na verdade. Sem filas para bebidas ou restaurantes, muitas cabanas de piscina e cadeiras de praia. Era como nosso pequeno resort particular. Tão tranquilo e relaxante. A água é límpida / azul clara. A areia é branca e macia como uma massa. Realmente não vejo necessidade de viajar mais para ter uma praia linda e uma experiência excelente!

Absolutely phenomenal resort. We honeymooned here and it was perfection. Even when the weather wasn't amazing, it was still fun. The check in process was easy and straight forward. Anything we needed, the desk was able to provide for us. The room was clean and gorgeous with a fantastic view. All 11 restaurants were fantastic. The gym left a lot to be desired, but the gym staff was so fun and lovely, we made it work. The bartenders really made it, shout out to Tevin and Daria. Their banter was hilarious and they always remembered what we drank, despite how many guests they took care of. Do the pigs excursion! It is so worth it!

Private taxis to and from resort. Plenty of staff available to help with anything, very prompt, extremely nice. There is plenty of space at the resort and we saw very few people actually. No lines for drinks or restaurants, plenty of pool cabanas and beach chairs. It was like our own little private resort. So quiet and relaxing. The water is clear/light blue. The sand is white and soft like dough. I really don't see the need to travel any farther for a beautiful beach and excellent experience!

Esperávamos um toque mais pessoal e talvez tivéssemos expectativas muito altas. Outros em nosso grupo não tinham serviço de mordomo, então isso criou problemas para os mordomos também. Fomos capazes de fazer reservas para o nosso grupo e desfrutamos algumas noites de surpresas (flores no banheiro e camarão frito), mas, novamente, talvez nossas expectativas fossem muito altas. Nós apenas esperávamos algumas 'surpresas' e mais atenção pessoal dos mordomos ... talvez eles estivessem sobrecarregados. Não sei de quantas suítes cada uma cuidou. A localização do Emerald Bay é excelente, a apenas 15 minutos do aeroporto. Todo mundo foi muito legal. Os restaurantes esqueceram alguns detalhes para as nossas comemorações, mas se recuperaram bem entregando o bolo de aniversário mais tarde. O passeio a nadar com os porcos é imperdível!

Sandals Emerald Bay foi um local perfeito para lua de mel. Tendo que esperar quase um ano após o nosso casamento para ir, foi uma viagem muito esperada e não decepcionou. O pessoal é super simpático, a comida deliciosa, a praia perfeita e o clima descontraído. Tivemos uma massagem maravilhosa para casais e fomos na excursão dos Porcos Natantes. Sentimo-nos muito seguros, mesmo na época de uma pandemia global, pois a limpeza era uma prioridade. Eu recomendo este Sandals. Nós nos divertimos tanto, reservamos outra viagem do Sandals em outubro próximo!

Sandals Emerald Bay was a perfect honeymoon spot. Having to wait almost a year after our wedding to go, it was a much anticipated trip and did not disappoint. The staff is super friendly, the food was delicious, the beach was perfect, and the vibe was laid back. We enjoyed a marvelous couples massage and went on the Swimming Pigs excursion. We felt very safe, even in the time of a global pandemic, as the cleanliness was notably a priority. I would highly recommend this Sandals. We had such a great time, we booked another Sandals trip next October!

We, along with 6 friends, were celebrating my wife's birthday. This was our second trip to a Sandals resort, but first to Emerald Bay. Since it was a special occasion, we decided upon a butler suite, thinking this would put a special touch on a special event. We were not impressed with the Butler service. We expected more personal touch and maybe we had too high expectations. Others in our group did not have butler service, so this created issues for the butlers, too. We were able to get reservations for our group and enjoyed a couple nights of surprises (flowers in bathroom & fried shrimp), but, again, maybe our expectations were set too high. We just expected a few 'surprises' and more personal attention from the butlers....maybe they were overworked. I don't know how many suites each took care of. The location of the Emerald Bay is great, only about 15 minutes from the airport. Everyone was really nice. The restaurants forgot a few details to our celebrations, but recovered well by delivering the birthday cake later. The swimming with the pigs excursion is a must!

Excelente! El hotel trasmite mucha paz. Tiene hermosos rincones con hamacas y sofás para sentarte y disfrutar la tranquilidad, el sonido de los pajaritos, la vegetación, muchas flores!!! Y lo mejor de todo, el mar turquesa de fondo! Volvería sin dudas! Los jacuzzi son con agua bien caliente . Tiene dos sectores uno zona son música,bar de agua y otro en zona tranquila donde no se puede hacer ruido. Habitaciones amplias y limpias. Como hay mucha vegetación hay mosquitos, lleven repelente! Muy buena atención de los empleados!

Resort was beautiful, and the beaches and ocean were breath taking. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and there were always activities going on day or night. Can't wait to go back!

Villa was not worth of 7k we paid for. I would rather stay in regular room instead. It was not like on the picture that i saw on their website! We had terrible experience with this resort! Food is tasteless, if you want to eat burger or fast food only, go to sandals resort. They had no seafood only conk. We had a butler who messed up everything at first (he forgot to make a reservation for a romantic dinner by the beach) we got ready and were waiting at front desk, they came up and said that they have no idea about private romantic dinner by the beach. We got really upset and the next day our butler made it up for us. He made a dinner table on the pool which was not bad. Overall we will never go back to that place ever.

We loved it here! Quiet and spread out. Amazing beach. Did not get a butler, didn't need one. Sushi was great! We will be back.

My wife won a trip here on Wheel Of Fortune. Wow, did they hook us up. This resort is amazing! The room was perfect. The service here is top notch. I got to be good friends with the bartender, Trevor. This resort has 11 restaurants, all of which are phenomenal! The pool is spectacular, as well. I could write forever about this experience, but all I have left to say is...Go here! You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Sandals, Pat, and Vanna!

We knew the staff would be excellent, and they were way, way better than excellent. I had no idea the food would be as good as it is. This place is the total package when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. Beaches were great. You MUST do the swimming pigs island tour. It’s a couple hundred bucks per person and well worth it.
