The hotel and amentites at this establishment is very nice. However, I gave a bad review due to being racially profiled by Phillip ( front desk suprrvisor) on Feb 12, 2022. We asked Phillip for direction for pool where he stated the pool was filled to capicity, we should make a reservation for another day. Although we had a 5:30pm for this date.Next, he followed us to the pool area and and stated we have too many people from our group in the pool. He informed us that each 2 bedroom suite can have 6 guest in the pool. Our group consists of 6 kids 1 adult to supervise while 4 adults sat near the pool (fully dressed). Phillip counted all the black people and the pool and stated we have too many people in the pool. We explained to Phillip we were not with the other group of black people ( group of 4). The. He left. Phillip returned 15 minutes later stateing our children are laughing and talking too loud, they must keep their voices down Or less we will be asked to leave the pool area. He left again. 10 minutes later Phillip returned. This time he began yelling at our children and threated to put them out the pool if they didnt use their inside voices instead of laughing and playing in the pool. In my child's defense my husband and I asked Phillp to talk with the adults instead of frightening our children. Plus it's the respectful thing to do. Phillip stated " no I will tell the children. Since they are unsupervised." he was so out of control he proceeded to yell at our children ( ages 5,7,8) again. I have a picture of our group of kids in the pool and a video od Phillip yelling and threating our childre at the top of his longes. This made my family and I very uncomfortable and I was afraid of what Phillip might say or do to our children next. We didn't want the situation to escalate so we left before our reservation time ended. We feared Phillip continueing to harrass us and wasnt to remove our children from the hostility. Maybe Phillip was overwhelmed woth the hotel being completely book up due to a wedding party. We hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Great rooms. You can tell they clean the place well, as we were greeted with a strong scent of disinfectant. The one gripe was that when we were sleeping at like 4:00. Landscapers for some reason started mowing the lawn and it was super loud and disruptive. Other than that I have really no gripes.

Not a real Marriott. This is like a low end franchise hotel. I am staying here now & unfortunately stuck. Philip at the front desk has reprimanded me on the phone when I asked for my room to be cleaned on a Friday after being here a week. He was irate and told me cleaning is only on certain days. The refrigerator is ancient and screams. The ancient dishwasher leaks and it seems to be an ongoing problem since the bottom of the cabinet beside it is rotted. The dishwasher itself is also very dirty and rusty. I asked for the leak issue to be resolved and a maintenance man came to my room in all arrogance and disgruntled, told me in annoyance it's because I don't push the dishwasher door enough. He closed the dishwasher and ran it without asking me if he could. I was drying some non-dishwasher safe items in it at that time. He was inconsiderate and angry. I most definitely did not deserve that treatment. Plus, he wasn't wearing a mask! So now, I let it leak and use a roll of paper towel to clean up the water on the floor. There was a broken glass in my cupboard which I couldn't see was broken because the break was preemptively hid and I cut my finger. I now have a scar on my finger. There is a little card that states" The cleanliness and sanitation of your accommodations at the Residence Inn by Marriott are of the utmost importance. To that end, the dishes and silverware in your room's kitchen have been sanitized in the dishwasher prior to your arrival. Well, my dishes, glasses, and silverware were not in the dishwasher when I checked in. There were some dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The tub was filthy. I am so glad I brought some cleaning supplies. The tub was brown, obviously not cleaned for days. The tub walls are also full of dried soap scum. They must think guests cannot notice dirt. The bed is the worst Marriott bed. Like I said earlier, this place does not feel like a real Marriott. The pillows are so old and worn and have foul odor. The pull out bed mattress is stained and very thin. I asked for beddings for it one night because next door guest was snoring like a freight train. I was given a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a twin blanket. They must think it is sufficient for a comfortable sleep in a Marriott. The walls are beyond paper thin. If you plan on staying here long term, expect mostly sleepless nights. Behind the wall of the bed must be another bed because if it's not a loudly snoring person, it's a person or people who are constantly talking all the way until three in the morning. Not ideal if you have to wake up for work at five in the morning after having worked until midnight. This is not a smoke-free facility. Every entrance to this building has smokers. That includes the arrogant disgruntled maintenance man. So, whether you're leaving the building or entering, you are forced to inhale the smoke.Also, there is frequent smell of pot in the hallways. This Marriott property seems to be 420 friendly. This was not fully disclosed at booking. One cannot ignore the smell.Do not stay here long term. The extremely poor customer service is enough to cause one's blood pressure to rise significantly. Also, staff here do not wear masks.There is only one person in this property who takes pride in her work. Her name is Amber. She is the only employee here with tact and is always professional.

I stayed here this past weekend with my family and I am giving this hotel a 5 stars. The General Manager Tonya was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Her staff provided impeccable customer service as well. We enjoyed the hotel amenities including the Continental breakfast and pool & hot tub. The only con I have is I wish the room was a bit bigger but that didn’t stop me for booking again next month!
