The NH Ciudad de Cuenca hotel is in the quiet San Fernando residential area, opposite a park. It’s about 15 minutes’ walk to the commercial center and the same again to the old part, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ‘Hanging Houses’. The hotel has 74 rooms – they’re all Standard, except for our 6th-floor Junior Suite. What they all have in common is a modern style that feels warm and inviting. Our restaurant and bar are great places to relax, whether you’re sipping a glass of wine or tucking into a plate of Mediterranean food. You might like to head to the gym for a workout. And if you need space for a business meeting, we have several rooms to choose from.

“Nice and professional staff Amazing breakfast buffet. Nice, clean and spacious room. Near worthless gym for serious training but adequate for casual workouts. Location good if you have a car, but otherwise a bit far from the popular attractions. Minibar content ludicrously expensive (as in most hotels but still always the same disappointment). The "free wifi" has a speedcap to be sufficient for"email and read news" and they charge you around 10eur extra for an upgrade if you want enough speed for media streaming. Their wifi also didn't seem to have proper security setup. But 4G mobile network reception was good (at least in our room).To summarize: a typical mediocre hotel appart from exceptional breakfast.”
