Hyatt Place Chantilly was a recommended partner of our wedding venue for hotel blocks. We have communicated to them that they should stop referring guests to this location. The sales manager was exceedingly difficult to reach regarding reserving a block and making changes to the block. On multiple instances, we had to email, email again, and then call to get a hold of her, and the answer always was, “Oh, I was just about to email you.” That might have worked once but not three different times.Two weeks before our wedding, she told us she would finalize the shuttle schedule with us for the complementary shuttle service the next week after the room block was finalized. When we called the next week, we were told she was on planned time off and that there was no one else at the hotel who could assist us. When there is a department of one and that one person is not performing, it is a recipe for disaster.We also had difficulties with the complementary shuttle. The sales manager told us there would be an onscreen prompt for the concierge when guests checked in to notify them there was a shuttle and to select a time on the shuttle sign-up sheet at the front desk. When I arrived to check in for my own room the day before the wedding, there was no sign-up sheet at the front desk. I asked the concierge where it was, and she had it filed away. No one had signed up. I then asked if she informed guests there was a shuttle option like the sales manager had said she would. The concierge said that she had not because it was guests’ responsibility to inquire about it, not hers to inform them. She also said there was no on-screen prompt when I mentioned the sales manager said there would be one. So, either the sales manager misled us about the nature of how their system works, or the concierge was not doing her job.To make matters worse, the concierge was extremely rude throughout this process and told me when I expressed my frustration over how difficult they had been for weeks that I “need to calm down.”In her assessment, I was the one being a problem, not this location and its employees.To cap everything off, my parents’ room wasn’t ready when they checked in (despite being told it was ready for early check-in when they called ahead), and my father couldn’t check in without my mother present since she was the one who actually made the reservation, even though he had the card on file and has his name on the card too.AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Tivemos problemas desde o momento em que entramos pela porta. Em primeiro lugar, não havia ninguém na recepção para fazer o check-in ou trabalhar conosco basicamente o tempo todo que estivemos lá. Então chegamos ao quarto e a geladeira estava quebrada, que ligamos e pedimos para consertar. Três dias depois, fizemos o check-out e a geladeira não foi consertada (e não havia gelo em nenhum andar). Nosso quarto nunca foi limpo. Saímos do quarto por algumas horas e voltamos para um quarto que cheirava como se alguém tivesse acabado de fumar. Eu finalmente encontrei um funcionário da recepção e retransmiti nossos problemas para os quais ele disse que não havia nada que ele pudesse fazer ou que pudéssemos fazer para resolvê-los. Eu nunca ficaria aqui novamente.

We had problems from the moment we walked in the door. First, there was no one at the front desk to check us in or work with us basically the entire time we were there. Then we got to the room and the fridge was broken, which we called in and asked to be fixed. Three days later we checked out and the fridge was not fixed (and there was no ice on any floor). Our room was never cleaned. We left the room for a few hours and came back to a room smelling like someone had just smoked in it. I finally found a front desk associate and relayed our issues to which he said there was nothing he could do or we could do to resolve them. I would never stay here again.

Decepcionado com este Hyatt (este foi o nosso terceiro Hyatt em nossa viagem do Texas, muito fácil de comparar com os outros. O quarto cheirava a gambá assim que entramos. Lençóis cheiravam a fumaça e havia mofo na cortina do chuveiro. Ar o condicionador não funcionou corretamente. A mulher que trabalhava na cozinha / limpando o saguão tinha uma atitude terrível que gerava uma preocupação muito negativa para todos (eu a ouvi sendo rude com três pessoas diferentes e ela basicamente fez uma careta para mim quando tentei animá-la A equipe que trabalhava na recepção foi muito gentil e prestativa, mas difícil de vê-los através da nuvem que essa outra mulher criou ao seu redor. Seguindo em frente, esperançosamente, para uma experiência melhor do Hyatt em nossa próxima parada.

Eu não fiquei neste Hyatt, mas eu experimentei atendimento ao cliente incrível de Manny, o funcionário da recepção. Alguns dias atrás, eu estava em uma corrida que foi interrompida quando a chuva começou a cair. Felizmente, esse Hyatt estava perto, então eu pude correr e me abrigar.Manny foi gentil o suficiente para perguntar se eu precisava de alguma coisa e ele até me deixou usar o telefone para que eu pudesse ligar para minha colega de quarto para me pegar. Ele estava me ajudando e cuidando de todos os hóspedes do hotel que apareciam na recepção. O melhor atendimento ao cliente que recebo de um funcionário de um hotel há muito tempo! Eu recomendo este lugar para qualquer pessoa apenas por causa dessa experiência.

No me quedé en este Hyatt, pero experimenté un servicio al cliente increíble de Manny, el empleado de recepción. Hace un par de días, estaba en una carrera que se interrumpió cuando empezó a llover a cántaros. Afortunadamente, este Hyatt estaba cerca, así que pude entrar corriendo y refugiarme.Manny fue lo suficientemente amable como para preguntarme si necesitaba algo e incluso me dejó usar el teléfono para que pudiera llamar a mi compañero de cuarto para que me recogiera. Me estaba ayudando y cuidando a los huéspedes del hotel que pasaban por la recepción. ¡El mejor servicio al cliente que he recibido de un empleado de un hotel en mucho tiempo! Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a cualquiera solo por esta experiencia.

Disappointed with this Hyatt (this was our third Hyatt on our road trip from Texas, so very easy to compare to others. Room smelled like skunk as soon as we walked in. Sheets smelled like smoke and there was mold on the shower curtain. Air conditioner didn't work properly. Woman working in the kitchen / cleaning in the lobby had a terrible attitude that created very negative engery for everyone (I overheard her being rude to 3 different people and she basically scowled at me when I tried to cheer her up by smiling at her). The staff working the front desk were very kind and helpful but hard to see them through the cloud that this other woman created around her. Moving on quickly to hopefully a better Hyatt experience at our next stop.

I didn't stay at this Hyatt, but I did experience awesome customer service from Manny, the front desk employee. A couple days ago, I was on a run that got cut short when rain started pouring down. Luckily this Hyatt was nearby, so I was able to run in and take shelter. Manny was gracious enough to ask if I needed anything and he even let me use the phone so that I could call my roommate to pick me up. He was helping me out and taking care of any hotel guests that came by the front desk. Best customer service I have received from a hotel employee in a long time! I'll highly recommend this place to anyone just because of this experience.
