It's great I work there for Urban Alchemy while it is a shelter in place hotel for the homeless. It's a very beautiful building.

The location of HTL 587 is really convenient. You can get on the bus in front of the hotel. It's comfortable to live here although the bathroom is a little bit small. Also, the breakfast area is tiny, I have to wait for others finish their breakfast. Be careful the homeless people on the street.

To all the travelers. Following you will see the experience I had with this hotel planning our visit to SAN FRANCISCO. See following how everything happened chronologically: We booked a flight to San Francisco, a RV, a NBA match tickets and the hotel. All happened between january and march 2020. See the last photo attached for better and extra details. On 12th March, Mr.Donald Trump announced that residents of Schengen zone were not allowed flying to EEUU for at least the upcoming 30 days. In different days, from Nwg Airlines, NBA and RC COMPANY we were contacted and told all our cancellations were going to be cancelled automatically bcs of the D.Trump measures and announcement. Having seen this situation I decided to contact the Ascend hotel collection and I asked, exceptionally to be refunded due to the Mr.Donald Trump's decision, so the point, I understand is that if I am not flying to United States it is not because of me, it is bcs simply I am not allowed to fly to United States. The most surprising thing was the hotel's response, a lack of humanity and a sense of professionalism considering they do work and they do operate in the hospitality sector. Just caring about money. To all the potential visitors, thanks for taking the time for reading my experience with this hotel & please, make sure you know where you are going to book after having seen by yourself how do they treat they guest and customers. Apologise if my english is not as perfect as I would like it to be.

Very nice rooms. Also sending a special shout out to the guy working graveyard shift who did a really important thing for my gf and I. You're a very kind and good hearted man, and we appreciate you more than you can imagine. We'll come back every time we're in sf. Thank you.

The bui6takes you back in time, specifically the elevator. It is a hotel located in a neighborhood, which is considered as one of the most dangerous in SFCO. You definitely don't feel safe when going around for a walk because the area is surrounded by homeless. Staff members are nice except for one of the guys at the front desk ( the one who dresses quite elegant)who didn't even make eye contact or greet. I wouldnt come back. Bathtub needs to be replaced it was clean but ours was quite old, it makes it look not clean.

The neighborhood is terrible, people are smoking crack on the sidewalk just a block away from the hotel. Someone opened my door in the middle of the night, scared the living hell of my family...

I really enjoyed my stay at HTL 587. The room and bathroom were very clean and simple -- met my needs perfectly. I loved the coffee maker in the room so I could wake-up and get going and also...

Little hotel with tiny rooms. Smaller then I imagined. Some rooms are facing a wall; so u can not know if it is day or night... showers are interesting; not easy to use. Elevator is archaic...
