Hotel de la cadena Riu sin más, nada excepcional que destacar.Servicio y hospitalidad buenos.Por remarcar aspectos negativos: toallas de ducha demasiado pequeñas, gel y champú en mismo envase, amenities limitados, horario de cena excesivamente para extranjeros (solo hasta las 21.30 y te recogían las cosas para salir como máximo a las 21.45), horario de piscina limitado (de 10.30 a 19).

En éstos estos momentostan complicados nos hemos sentido muy seguros,el esfuerzo que hace el personal por mantener todo limpio y desinfectado es extraordinario. Gracias absolutamentea todo el personal por hacernos sentir como en casa con su trato familiar.

The hotel is great, renovated nicely. The food is okey and the stuff very kind but the level of noise between 8h30 am and 01 pm is just incredible... Slapping doors, cleaners talking or singing... We're obliged to go have breakfast even if we don't want to, we cannot rest anyway because of the noise... Please work on that.. Big up to Sylvia of reception very kind, open minded, available. She always has the right word to make you smile and always gives good advice.

So far very we’re very disappointed. The reception staff seem unhappy and do not have a suitable personality to be working in a hospitality business. We arrived at night time wishing to kick back and relax in our room as soon as possible; but unfortunately that was not going to be the case. They gave us a room with a bathroom door that was not working. Talk about privacy! We immediately let the hotel staff know about it. After a staff member checked the door they only offered to have a technician come to fix it the next day. That is certainly not something you want to worry when you’re trying to have a nice relaxing weekend. After we said it wasn’t acceptable to stay in a room without a working bathroom door they seemed to get back at us for complaining and they ended up “degrading” our room to one at much lower level with unpleasant blocked views. You’d expect them to be more professional and apologetic by the whole bad experience having just checked in but in Hotel Riu Festival customer service is their last priority. *We decided to amend our review after spending a few more days in the facility. We did have a poor check-in experience but we should not let “one bad apple” ruin it for the rest of the staff members. The receptionist that did our check-in needs more training or perhaps a career path review. However, the restaurant waitresses and restaurant manager were extremely professional. The food was exceptional! Congrats to the chef. Even the cleaning ladies were very pleasant. These people ended up salvaging our stay and we did have a lovely time at the end. We will come back for sure.

It is forbidden by the hotel to drink your own water by the pool, waiters check if someone has their own drink (even water). I have never experienced such an approach in other hotels.
