“Having stayed at another Home2 Suites location in the past, we chose this brand-new hotel expecting the same high standards and thoughtful amenities. Beds are comfy, everything is of course spotlessly clean, lighting is very good, shower is beautifully spacious, we have plenty of towels, bathroom is equipped with dispensers of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion as well as bar soap, and there's lots of room for suitcases, toiletries, etc. Lots of options for charging electronics, too. Coffee and two kinds of tea are provided in the room, which we appreciated. Breakfast options are good--warm oatmeal with toppings, yogurts, waffles, omelettes and breakfast sandwiches with eggs and sausage, fruit, two kinds of muffins, two kinds of bagels, two kinds of bread for toast, three kinds of cereal, several coffee varieties. However, one of the things we loved about the other location--and one of the reasons we chose this hotel--was the curtain between the couch and the beds, and this room does not have one, even though the website for this location shows it. A manager told me in the morning that there will be curtains; they're just not in yet. The pool was not available. We were offered the option of going across the parking lot to another hotel to swim, but on a windy winter night that's not terribly appealing. We noticed several small maintenance issues: More often than not, our door fails to latch. The phone is not working. The set screw on the shower handle is not screwed in. Management was glad to have these pointed out for correction. Management was very responsive to all our concerns and told the desk to comp the night's cost and give us extra rewards points, which was a very welcome gesture. We would definitely give this location a second chance once they're had more time to get up and running. (They just opened two weeks ago.)”

“Stayed here for one night when in town for a basketball tournament. It was ok. The rooms were spacious, and mostly clean. I was a bit disappointed that the pull out bed had dirty sheets on it, and we had to ask for new ones. Everything else was clean. I also would prefer if the mattress have zippered mattress protectors (for obvious reasons) but they don’t. We needed an extra pillow, and we’re told they had none at all. The front desk agent wasn’t the friendliest person. I was a bit frustrated that they don’t do contactless check in like Marriott does. They made me give my ID and credit card upon arrival, run it through the machine, and fill out paperwork acknowledging their hotel policies upon arrival. The computer froze while doing so, so it was a good 5 minutes of standing there with bags, tired, and ready to get to my room. I would have preferred to have contactless like they advertised.”
