“Booked thru hotwire,one of my main requirements where shuttle from and toairport - hotel, as this was a hot deal there was no way of knowing which hotel it was till it was booked without any cancellation option. So once I saw it was DoubleTree Hotel, I waspleasantly surprised first. But there are a few thingsthat became an issue. Started with shuttle only runs till 10pm and starts at 5am. My plane did not get there till 1am so as other customers and I got stuck for 2 hours at Airport due Lyft and Uber keep cancelling, or had current passengers with them or just never showed up( Shuttle should off been running!) When I called to confirm shuttle hours desk receptionist [male] was very unprofessional and rude. Next issue room had still trash on floor, bathroom cosmetic mirror was not properly installed so use was not possible was afraid it would break. Indoor Pool was worsed experience, water was not clear almost milky coloured nasty looking, around pool on floor where 23 spots with paper trash, hair, dead bugs and tree leaves! Just not maintenance at all nasty very dissapointed. DIDN'T take my cellphone with me or would of documented it. First night only cold water couldn't take a shower. Only one elevator was working and of course it took longer as it was used a lot. Receptionist Saturday was super friendly as waitress atbar. Otherwise very dissapointed, this Double tree didn't not meet expectations. No breakfast offered due Covid but kitchen open what's the difference between breakfast, lunch and dinner people still sit in the same area?! After we checked out and looked at Bank statement we found out we where not only charged 1 deposit of $300 no 2 additional $100. As we called it was explained it was a mistake by employee who checked my boyfriend in and the deposit where released after checking out, but we all know it takes a few days to get it lifted. For so many issues you should be glad still to get a 3 star rating. It's just a shame after all, you can't even give us a voucher for 1 free hotel night.”
