The room was not great. Carets were dirty and ripped. Ceramic tile around whirlpool was busted. The walls weren't clean. Some pictures were missing. Microwave wasn't plugged into the wall and had to find the plug to plug in. The smoking area needs a cleaning since people can not put their buttons where they need to be. Breakfast was not as described. Seriously lacking. The area has seriously deteriorated. Internet was super fast. The electrical outlets are wobbly, so check to make sure your chargers are charging... mine was not. The snack machine was well stocked. The Dayshift desk was very nice. The room was clean except the carpet. It's definitely NOT worth the price. Would not stay there again.

This place will remind you how inconsiderate people can be. The hotel claims to be 100% smoke free. However, if you smoke pot and want to COMPLETELY disregard hotel policy, this is your place. Outside the abhorrent state of the overall hotel, we were accosted with the smell of weed in our own room. There was such rampant disregard for policy and disrespect for other guests that the odors seeped through our door and gave me a headache. As a courtesy to the hotel, I won't tell you what the receptionist said when we broached this issue with the front desk, so let's just say they didn't do anything and couldn't even give us a fan to help dissipate the odor in our room. All previous reviews about the cleanliness of this location are 100% true. Our carpet was so gross that we played "floor is lava" the entire time we were there to avoid sepsis or, at the bare minimum, a nasty case of athlete's foot. (Attached picture was taken in poor lighting.) We only selected this hotel because, of other hotels in the immediate area, it had higher reviews. I cringe thinking about what the other hotels must look like if this one had better feedback.

Room was in pretty good condition, clean for the most part. Rug on the other hand was stained heavily in quite a few areas and the reception for the tv was either in need of being sharpened or the televisions needed updating. The breakfast offered was good consisting of fresh fruit, bagels, muffins and cereals. Also had a waffle machine. There may have been more offerings but I just grabbed a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin. So overall I'd recommend this establishment if you are in need of a little r&r and happen to be in Chester, VA.

Absolutely horrible! Booked with this hotel because I requested adjoining rooms since we have 8 kids and they said they could accommodate us. Upon check in I was told they didn’t have any adjoining rooms available. The best they could do is 1 room on the 1st floor and 1 room on the 3rd floor. The 1st floor room bed had pee stains in the bed and whatever they washed the carpets with, the fumes were terrible and made my 2yr old have a terrible coughing fit. The 3rd floor room smelled like an old ashtray, it was awful. Not to mention, you felt like you got a contact buzz anytime you walked the halls or rode in the elevator. Definitely not a family friend hotel at all!!!

The only reason I left 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was great, friendly, and helpful. And the beds were decent. The pull out was a joke, the room was crammed,. One of my rooms reaked of weed. My other room stunk really bad. The carpets are nasty. The area isn't great. The breakfast was a joke should be called a snack bar, not breakfast. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, I found someone else's hair in the shower when we 1st got there. We definitely will not stay again.
