“This was an excellent choice of hotel for us in an excellent location. Large, comfortable and quiet rooms - loved the pillows! Superb friendly and very helpful staff. Great on-site facilities (bar and restaurant). And pn-site parking, which was a huge bonus. Easy walking to many good bars, restaurants. historic Newcastle, and the newly refurbished Cathedral (which was stunning). And, best of all, great value!

“The hotel has a wonderful location, right on the quayside but it is very close to the railway bridge where the trains rumble across every few minutes. Fortunately, they stop during the night. The room was very comfortable but curiously lacking in power points for a modern hotel. We were not able to get an evening meal at the hotel on our first night as the dining area was reserved for 2 coach parties but their are many restaurants within easy walking distance. Being a member of Millennium hotels was a big advantage as parking was free and it seems quite expensive otherwise.”
