“Nice place. We were in town for a visit with our daughter who is hiking the AT and this was a good location and at the right price. We called the same day as we were headed south (you can usually get away with this in the off season) and they honored the price that we saw on the web based booking sites. Nice staff, always friendly. The hotel was built in 1974 and is a tad dated but has been remodeled and looks great. I liked the display that showed the solar panels on the roof. The hotel was clean, as was the room. The view is great. It was called the Ridge View Hotel at one time I think. The room was nicely appointed with all the needs; fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The bed was firm and comfy, and the pillows were plump. We had a room with a view and the noise from the road was noticeable, but not horrible (mostly from trucks using engine brakes going 60mph, see caution below). The bathroom was huge and at first we thought it was for handicap accessibility (which it could be) but there were no handrails, anywhere. The tub had jets, but they didn't work. The water pressure at the shower head was horrible. Breakfast was okay. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, bacon, gravy, home fries and waffle maker on the hot line both mornings (always with the waffles but no grits?). And the usual other breakfast items. Enough to get you going on a full tummy. And a large dinning room, which was very nice. TAKE NOTE! The driveway is on a road that has a 60 mph speed limit. You pull out and someone is running you over. Just be careful. I cannot figure way it is 60 mph at that point. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and we would stay again.”

“Lugar legal. A vista é ótima. No geral, nós apreciamos a nossa visita e ficaríamos novamente.”
