O que há de mais revelador sobre qualquer empresa é como lidam com as adversidades. Minha família e eu viajamos para Double Tree em Greenwich para umas férias curtas durante a pandemia. Embora alguns serviços fossem limitados, eles ainda podiam fornecer café da manhã todas as manhãs, uma equipe amigável e tantas comodidades quanto possível. Kudos!

The most telling things about any business is how they handle adversity. My family and I traveled to the Double Tree in Greenwich for a short holiday during the pandemic. While some services were limited, they were still able to provide breakfast every morning, a friendly staff, and as many amenities as possible. Kudos!

No último momento, (feriado bancário final de semana 29-08-2020) meu marido reservou um quarto para nós no Doubletree Hilton Hotel em Greenwich (Catherine Grove, Londres SE10 8FR). Ele reservou um quarto (via Expedia.com) que especificava uma cama queen size. A cama que tínhamos era de casal. Liguei para a recepção, ao que me disseram, não temos camas American Queen size, mas o quarto é Queen size. Desculpe. Eu não pedi um quarto Queen size. A descrição do quarto especificava que era uma cama Queen size e foi isso que pagamos. Eu o achei muito rude, ele não estava interessado no que eu tinha a dizer. Sua resposta foi: há mais alguma coisa. O número do quarto em que ficamos era (507), por favor, não se deixe enganar pela descrição do quarto no site. Esta NÃO é uma cama queen-size.

No geral, está tudo bem para o preço. O café da manhã não vale a pena do meu ponto de vista, básico e simples. O restaurante é tradicional, mas a comida é normal. Onde eu recomendo o wrap vegetariano e salada de frutas. O ginásio é pequeno mas sempre vazio e perfeito para fazer qualquer treino. Recepção sempre útil. Os quartos são pequenos, mesmo os de upgrade.

At the last moment, (Bank Holiday weekend 29-08-2020) my husband booked us a room at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Greenwich (Catherine Grove, London SE10 8FR). He reserved a room (via Expedia.com)that specified Queen size bed.The bed we had, was bearly a double. I called down to reception, whereupon I was told, we don't do American Queen size beds, but the room is Queen size. Excuse me. I didn't ask for a Queen size room.The description of the room, specified it was a Queen size bed and thats what we've paid for. I found him to be very rude, he was not interested in what I had to say.His response was is there anything else.The room number we stayed in was (507) please do not be fooled by the description of the room on the website.This is NOT a Queen size bed.

In overall it's alright for the price. Breakfast isn't worth it from my point of view, basic and plain. Restaurant is traditional but food it's okay. Where I recommend the veggie wrap and fruit salad. Gym it's small however always empty and perfect to do any work out. Reception always helpful. Rooms are small even the upgrade ones.e

Reservamos uma suíte king porque eu tinha algum trabalho a fazer e queria um pouco mais de espaço para relaxar. O quarto em si era bom, tectos altos, a cama era confortável. A tecnologia do quarto era boa, interruptores sensíveis ao toque, no entanto, a TV era bem desatualizada, não tenho certeza se isso é um problema em todos os quartos ou apenas nesta suíte. O banheiro precisava de atenção. A porta do chuveiro era muito dura, a madeira ao redor do espelho estava um pouco podre por causa do vapor e dava para ver onde parecia que tinha sido colada de volta. A prateleira inferior apresenta danos significativos causados pela água do chuveiro. O mais decepcionante foi que chegamos, fui colocar algumas bebidas na geladeira e havia duas garrafas de água pela metade. Dada a situação atual da COVID e a ênfase em seu regime de limpeza, foi preocupante ver que a geladeira havia sido claramente esquecida. A senhora da recepção foi útil e veio para limpar a geladeira, muito se desculpou e profissional. Como estou blindando há 130 dias, foi bastante preocupante. Presumo que a manutenção da casa tenha uma lista de verificação para cada cômodo e me faz pensar no que mais poderia estar faltando.No geral foi uma estadia ok, mas as principais questões são o banheiro que precisa de alguma manutenção, substituição, nenhum guia de TV e a geladeira suja deixei desapontado.

We booked a king suite as I had some work to do and wanted a bit more space to relax. The room itself was nice, high ceilings, bed was comfortable. In room technology was fine, touch sensitive switches however the TV was pretty dated, not sure if this is an issue in all rooms or just this suite. The bathroom could use some attention shower door was very stiff, the wood around the mirror was bit rotten from the steam and you could see where it looked like it had been glued back on. The lower shelf has significant water damage from the shower. The most disappointing thing was that we arrived, I went to put some drinks in the fridge and there were two half empty water bottles. Given the current COVID situation and the emphasis on their cleaning regime it was concerning to see the fridge had clearly been overlooked. The lady on the front desk was helpful and came to clean the fridge, very apologetic and professional. Given I've been shielding for 130 days it was quite concerning. I assume house keeping has a checklist for every room and makes me wonder what else might be missed.It was overall an ok stay but the main issues being the bathroom needing some maintenance, replacement, no TV guide and the uncleaned fridge I left disappointed.

Hotel mediano e que não correspondeu à expectativa. A ver, restaurante na cave, escuro e frio. Lobby pequeno e encolhido. Quarto ok mas com pouco isolamento para exterior que não protege do barulho da casa de máquinas que funciona durante toda a noite. Pequeno almoço normal.

Stayed on the 9th floor and enjoyed the views from here. Could see a lot of London from the bedroom. High glass walls allowing beautiful views in the morning and evening. The room itself was a very good size, lots of space and a large bed. The reception was quick to action requests and the staff were very helpful generally speaking.We had breakfast inthe hotel. Very nice display of options for breakfast.We also had dinner in the restaurant and that was also very nice.We had a good night's rest every night. Will use the hotel again.

Gran servicio, acogedor y cercano, nos alojamos con mi tío, la semana pasada a causa del ATP de Londres, quiero agradecer en especial a la gente de recepción: Jan, André y a la Señorita del Bar Daniela y su contraturno que lamento no recordar su nombre(Italia), por el excelente servicio prestado.Hotel cercano al museo maritimo y al estadio o2.en el lovely sector de Greenwich.

Aunque la ubicación está un poco alejada del centro la experiencia vale la pena. El personal es súper amable, y todos los espacios preciosos. En concreto, el salón/bar es muy cómodo y elegante. La atención inmejorable, el té y las pastas no te las puedes perder, una auténtica experiencia británica
