“We were excited to visit Japan, commonly known as the Land of the Rising Sun, for the first time to enjoy its numerous tourist spots and learn more of its people, history and culture.
The first thing we experienced when we arrived was their much touted hospitality at the welcome party they hosted for us. It was filled with warmth, genuineness, fun, food, plenty smiles and greetings when we checked-in to the hotel for the night after our touchdown at Narita International Airport. Their touching show of gratitude, the morning after, made our day as its staff in full array assembled to bid us farewell as if we were royalty or dignitaries thus bringing our transient camaraderie to a happy end.”
