“one incident during our check in kind of ruins our mood. My wife were handling the check in while I wait with our kids. While waiting I took some light snacks and juice and eat it with my kids. Once my wife got our room key we continue finishing the foods. One of your staff approaches us asking if we are waiting for our key. I said we are done with check in just finishing up our foods. He said sorry the food is only for waiting guest. What difference does it make? Do I have to finish my food before we got the keys? If so please put a label at the food corner. This encounter ruins our experience on this lovely hotel. He did not seem to bother the other guest enjoying the food as well which makes me wonder is it because I am not wearing fancy dress or doesn't look like a dato'. I was not in the mood to argue so we left the lobby. Other than that the stay is good.”

“We didn't stay but we went for the afternoon tea at Thirty8 Restaurant Grand Hyatt. From the beginning I called for a change of date for our reservation until we went to eat at the restaurant, it was pure disappointment. It was shocking to experience a hotel with its market standing this level of customer service. Our calls were passed from one person to another and eventually they informed that they would get the person in charge to return call. The returned call would never come. This had repeated a few rounds and finally the reservation was made. The views at Thirty8 were good but that was all. The food was not good and we were served with half melted ice creams. We had to remind the waiter three times before we could get our tea refilled. I would say it had been a zero-star customer experience from start to end. This would be the first and also the last time we would patronise this hotel.”
